1940s Vintage Bakers Rack Shelving Unit

Freshly baked bread would be left to cool on this 1940's vintage baker's rack and entice customers to purchase a loaf.

Six narrowly spaced slatted shelves offer plenty of storage space, making the trolley ideal for displaying pick-up items such as snacks. Alternatively, the slats could be removed to create more height on certain shelves. This retro trolley could also be adapted for use as a wine rack, or it would make a functional statement piece in a lounge or dining room.

The authentic, distressed patina of the metal frame emphasises the repeated use over the years. With a useful metal handle and casters, this baker's rack not only maximises storage but enables easy transportation of the trolley and its contents.  

As this is a vintage piece, it does show signs of wear and tear, which only adds to the vintage charm and character of the item.
